Course Overview:
The FNS51520 Diploma of Credit Management is designed for people who wish to manage a credit department or be promoted into a credit management role.
Credit Managers are responsible for overseeing the credit granting process for an organisation. In this course you will learn how to optimise sales and reduce bad debt losses by maintaining the credit policy. You will also cover topics such as; assessing the creditworthiness of potential customers, conducting review of credit files, managing the credit relationship and working with insolvency situations.

This qualification is relevant to credit professionals who work in either consumer or commercial credit in a variety of workplaces:
- Financial institutions such as a bank or credit union
- Within a business which offers commercial credit to customers
- Organisations offering a factoring and/or invoice discounting facility
