FNS40115 Certificate IV in Credit Management
The FNS40115 Certificate IV in Credit Management reflects entry-level job roles in credit management functions. Individuals working within this role apply theoretical and technical knowledge and skills to work autonomously and exercise judgment in completing routine and non-routine activities relating to credit, reconciliation, and customer service.
Credit management is the process of granting credit, the terms it's granted on, and recovering this credit when it's due. This is the function within a bank or company to control credit policies that will improve revenues and reduce financial risks.
Who is it for?
This qualification is relevant to credit professionals who work in either consumer or commercial credit in a variety of workplaces such as:
- Financial institutions such as a bank or credit union
- Within a business which offers commercial credit to customers
- Organisations offering a factoring and/or invoice discounting facility
There are no entry requirements for this course.
We understand that each learner has individual requirements and likes to study at their own pace. We would expect this course to take anywhere from 6 months to 1 year to complete.

For each qualification, there are a range of assessments for each qualification. These assessments vary depending on the qualification and can include the following;

- Verbal assessment, by way of an interview with your trainer.
- Observation by a trainer.
- Supervisor Checklists.
