Policy Statement:
ISM upholds the principles of equity, fairness, and inclusion by ensuring all learners have equal opportunity to access and participate in training and assessment.
Purpose:
To support learners regardless of background, ability, or circumstance.
Policy:
- ISM provides training to all clients regardless of race, gender, age, disability, language, literacy, numeracy, or socio-economic background.
- Special support needs are identified and reasonable adjustments applied.
- Access and equity principles are embedded in all ISM procedures.
Procedure:
- Access & Equity Policy available on website and communicated during induction.
- Support needs identified at enrolment and reasonable adjustments documented.
- Trainers and assessors apply fairness and flexibility in assessment.
- Adjustments and support measures recorded and reviewed regularly.
